A day of prayer for True Impact Ministries
Psalm 86. Verses 3-10, 15
Be gracious to me, O Lord, for to you do I cry all the day.
Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
Pray for 3 single moms Sylvia, Ruth and Sophia and their 8 children, ages newborn to 16 years old. They are shunned by their families and neighbors and face daily obstacles just to survive. Please Lord, let them know they are your children and loved by you. Provide hope and encouragement and daily sustenance through True Impact and give them your joy and peace.
For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
Give ear, O Lord to my prayer; Listen to my plea for grace.
Pray for True Impact Ministries as we look at the changes in Uganda related to lockdowns and personnel and make adjustments to our ministry. Lord, help the leaders and board members and staff, here and in Uganda, to seek you first in all things. Help us to assess needs and call upon you for direction and grace. May we renew and change to best meet the needs of those we serve guided by your forgiveness and steadfast love.
In the day of my trouble I call upon you, for you answer me.
There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours.
Pray daily for the kids. Our young ones have missed 2 full years of school. Others have had a few months of instruction. Our homes are providing classes in baking, soap making, crafts, and other skills, along with new technology to connect with online or zoom opportunities. Mentoring for emotional, social and spiritual growth has become a priority. Please pray for those who have lost family members to covid. Pray for safety and hope and motivation for each student. Lord, we seek your strength and mighty deeds with this ministry.
All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name.
For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. But you, O Lord are a God -merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
Praise God for who He is. Thank-you Lord for listening and hearing our words. Thank-you for the work of True Impact Ministries since the first bricks were laid in 2006. Thank-you for the lives of children who have been given hope and future because of your faithfulness. We have been abundantly blessed but are aware of the work yet to do. Guide our steps. Direct us towards new ways to love with action and in truth, mobilizing and enabling ordinary people to make an extraordinary impact.
