in our united, worldwide, day of prayer Tuesday October 12
Remember who God is: Isaiah 40:28-31 (The Message)
God doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out.
He energizes those who get tired,
gives fresh strength to dropouts.
For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don’t get tired. They walk and don’t lag behind.
Pray for our students at Salem Mission, Immanuel Home, The Hoffman Home, Maranatha Integrated School Program and Truth Christian School. Many are discouraged and tired as they wait for schools to reopen. May they find refuge and strength as they wait on the Lord for renewal and energy.
Lord Jesus, Keep each child safe from harm and disease. Encourage them. Help them to be motivated to learn and support each other. Surprise them with Your goodness and strength. You know them by name and love each one. Help them soar.
Pray for our ministry partners in Uganda: Each leader is working overtime as supplies run short, transportation remains limited and kids are out of school. But we thank God for new opportunities and changes that will bring wisdom and direction for the future.
Father God, Bless Pastors Alex, Patrick, Sam, and Isaac. For Margaret and Racheal and each co-worker who daily loves and serves the children.
Pray for the True Impact Team in the States as they seek after God for direction and coordinate efforts with the Uganda team to provide for the daily needs of 242 students plus families.
Spirit, Breathe new life into this team. Provide energy, focus, good conversation, patience and great love as we wait upon you.
