May 2023 Second Tuesday Prayer

Please join True Impact Ministries in our united, worldwide, day of prayer.

May 9, 2023

“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age,” Psalm 92:12-14
Psalm 92:12-14

May is a month of growth and renewal.

Our overall theme for this month’s prayer is growing our faith in God,

in all circumstances and seasons of life.

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” - 2 Peter 3:18

  • Please pray for the family and friends of Grace, a friend of ours and a beloved employee at Maranatha Kigalama. Grace was called home to our Lord in April, and many are trying to understand their loss. Lord, help us to give You the Glory in all things, now and forever.

“Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.” - Ephesians 4:15

  • Please pray for Posiano, who was in an altercation with another student and was pushed off a wall and hit his head. He was taken to a hospital for stitches and treatment and is now under observation by the school dispensary/clinic. Pray for his and the other student’s physical and spiritual healing.

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:7

  • We praise God for His faithfulness in giving Margaret safe travels for her visit to the United States. We thank Him for the time we spent together, and her impact on people here especially during the Celebration. We have faith God will provide for all our needs.

“You have planted them, and they have taken root; they grow and bear fruit.” - Jeremiah 12:2a

  • Pray for all the students who are home now after completing the first term of 2023. May they continue to shine Jesus’ light and love with immediate and extended family members
