May 2022 Second Tuesday Prayer

Please join True Impact Ministries in our united, worldwide, day of prayer.

May 10, 2022

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:3-6

This month we focus on prayer requests sent from our partners in Uganda.

  • Pray for Racheal, the Social Worker for Hoffman and Immanuel Homes who is being treated for acute Typhoid. Pray for the medication to be effective and for complete and rapid healing.

  • Pray for Patrick who will retire next year when he celebrates his 70th birthday on 23/03/23. He is traveling and raising funds to construct a nine-classroom block for the secondary school students of Maranatha schools. He writes “I will happily retire when the foundation for this block is laid. Please include this critical need on your TI prayer list for May. We currently have 187 students stuffed in rooms which were not built for learning purposes.”

  • Pray for Alex and the workers at Salem Mission. (Salem Home and Salem Christian School). “A number of activities are going on including meetings with the district leadership, making schemes of work by teachers, in time with these are skyrocketing of prices of items which include teaching and learning materials, food items, clothes, and soap to mention but a few. Accidents are on rise along the roads, abuse of human rights, a few members of our brethren happen to be sick- kindly include all that in the prayers of the month.”

  • Pray for provision as students begin their second term at school. All locations are faced with the challenge that everything in the country costs almost twice. “Prices went up and schools had to increase as a way to help stay running. It’s a rough patch right now.”

Pray for the children: Students from nursery school through those in Higher Education.

  • Pray for the “littles” – those who long to know the Father’s love and experience being in a loving family.

  • Pray for Primary students, some who have never been in a formal classroom. Lift up the P7 students who will be taking national exams in November.

  • Pray for the Secondary students – the high school students who have missed two years of study and are now expected to meet the demands of a new national curriculum. May they have strength, determination, hope and success as they study.

  • Pray for our Higher Ed students working hard to learn life and work skills. Bless them as they “catch-up”. Give them discernment and encounters with God as they rely on Him, not social pressures.
