May 2020 Second Tuesday Prayer

True Impact Ministries invites you to join in our united, worldwide, monthly day of prayer

Tuesday May 12, 2020

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, And their tongue is parched with thirst;

I, the Lord, will answer them Myself. As the God of Israel, I will not forsake them.

I will open rivers on the bare heights and fountains in the midst of the valleys.

I will make the wilderness a pool of water and the dry land springs of water.

So that they may see and recognize and consider and gain insight as well, that the hand of the Lord has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it. Isaiah 41:10, 17, 18, 20

Please take time to reflect on God’s promises from Isaiah. Listen to his declarations of “I am” and “I will”

and then pray with confidence for God’s children and His work through True Impact Ministries.

Prayer requests from one of our Ugandan Pastors: Pray for

  1. The end of corona virus to both our countries and the entire world.

  2. Children’s education, their health and for their spiritual growth to know God personally.

  3. God to give the leaders his knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to handle children with a Godly lovely heart, and for the church and the community to always focus on Jesus as our main source.

  4. Pray for the staff and the volunteers too. Pray that Christ will continue to stir in our hearts and allow us to open our eyes to the calling that we all have to impact the lives of this vulnerable people.

Lord,

Help us all to know You, to grow deeper in our insight and understanding of your goodness and power. You are the Only True God. Thank-you for your strength, peace and promises to take care of your people. May your Presence provide safety and guidance for your children as the nation of Uganda remains shut-down. Bring our students hope and blessing for their future. Provide for every need. May we join in unity to see and consider and gain insight into your work and desire in Uganda.
