Resist the evil one, be firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. - I Peter 5:9-11
Pray for Ukraine:
You are Lord of all nations and King of the earth. We plead with you for peace. Protect each child and woman and man from fear and move them to a place of safety and security. May your light shine and expose the darkness. Bring your truth. Lord, change the hearts of men who choose violence and aggression to promote their own cause. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in you alone to restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish Peace.
Pray for our students in Uganda:
Jesus, we pray for our most vulnerable children in Uganda. You know each of them and call them by name. We thank-you today for preserving and protecting all the students who have endured the past two years of isolation and poverty of love and instruction.
As the students are restored to their studies and reconnect with formal education, we pray that you strengthen their hearts, minds, and bodies to study, work hard, dream and move forward. God, we have students who have never been in a classroom and others who are in new schools – Please surround them with a Father’s love. May their confidence grow as they trust in you.
Thank-you for the older students who are being mentored, or now have new opportunities to train for a vocation. Help them be firm in their faith, resist temptations, and be strong in Truth.
Pray for the leadership:
Lord Thank-you for those who have given up so much to serve you. Help our True Impact leadership and the amazing Pastors and partners as they seek wisdom and counsel from you. May each one lead with humility, overseeing others with strength and insight which comes only from you. Work extraordinary miracles through these ordinary people.
Pray for the TIM team travel
Holy Spirit, as the team travels in less than 2 weeks, take care of the details. Bring to their minds all that they have prepared over the last 2 years. Walk with them through airports and customs, screenings, and times of anxiety. Strengthen them with your joy as they meet the kids and see You at work in Uganda.
To him be the glory and dominion forever and ever.
