June 2020 Second Tuesday Prayer

Please join True Impact Ministries in our united, worldwide, day of prayer

Tuesday June 9, 2020

The prophet Jeremiah lived during a challenging time of political, social, and spiritual unrest and discord. The people were scattered, self-seeking, and oppressing one another. During this season of turmoil, Our God of righteousness, justice and peace continued to speak.

Listen to the heart of God for his children, given to Jeremiah while he was isolated:

I will gather them from all the countries…I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their own good and the good of their children after them. I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me. I will rejoice in doing them good, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness with all my heart and all my soul. - Jeremiah 32:37-41 The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the guard; Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it— the Lord is his name; Call to me and I will answer you and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. - Jeremiah 33:1-3

God desires to be known today. He is good- and a promise keeper. He wants to have conversations with us. He listens when we call to him and He will answer, perhaps in ways that are unexpected.

Thank God for his goodness and his faithfulness. Thank him for revealing himself to us.

Intercede for the work of True Impact Ministries

  • Pray for health for the staff and children and families. Uganda has a rising number of positive Covid-19 cases confirmed in communities and among healthcare workers.

  • Pray for new avenues of education while schools remain closed. Pray for the Ugandan government leaders to make wise decisions.

  • Pray for protection for our children, especially for the older girls currently living in remote areas.

  • Pray for good supply sources and transportation to get food to children and families spread across the countryside.

Call out to God today

  • Ask him for tangible ways to reflect his goodness and love in your neighborhood.

  • Pray for wisdom among the True Impact leadership as they make decisions about the ministry.

  • Pray for clear and concise communication from our Ugandan partners as needs and regulations change daily.

Wait and Listen for his answer.

Let us not love with words or speech, but with action and in truth. - I John 3:18
