I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. I John 5:13,14
Begin with thanks to God for his blessings and promises. He is the source of our life and hope. He promises goodness and mercy. He wants us to talk with him in prayer and he will hear and respond.
Then pray for the country of Uganda: for health and not disease, for hope instead of despair, for truth to overcome lies.
Uganda remains in lockdown because of Covid-19.
Pray for our ministry partners and leaders in Uganda who are directly caring for the children:
For Alex, and Patrick and Eva and Sam and Prossy and Margaret and Racheal and Isaac and Peruth and Jeff and so many others.
Pray for the young children and older students who remain at home unable to attend school. May God bless them with safety and protection, provision and wellness and for motivation and courage to return to studies when they are able to. May each child know Christ in a personal relationship and seek Him for love and strength. Remember:

We thank God that none of our staff or students have been diagnosed with Covid, but several children are very sick with malaria, typhoid, hepatitis and other diseases requiring hospitalization. We have also received reports of dear friends who have died or are fighting the affects of this virus. Pray for God’s mercy and healing for each one and peace for those who have are grieving a loved one.
Pray for the leaders and Board of True Impact to be guided by the Lord in decision making and communication. Pray for wisdom as we seek to provide for each need during this unique and challenging time. Pray with us for God’s direction as we raise and distribute funds.
