“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” – Matthew 22:36-40
Valentines is celebrated as a day of Love. God is Love.
Today is a day to celebrate God’s Love for ALL.
Take time to pray through these verses. Pray them over yourselves. Pray them over your friends and family. Pray them over the children of Uganda. Pray them over the pastors, leaders and support personnel there.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. – John 3:16-17
Thank God for His provision given to us, now and always. What a wonderful plan He has for us all.
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. – 1 John 4:10-11
I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. – Provers 8:17
Pray for His Love to spread throughout the world. To us, through us, to all.
But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. – Psalm 86:15
May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. – 1 Thessalonians 3:12
Thank God for showing us what Love is, for filling us with His Love, and pray that He will show you how to share the abundance of His Love with others
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. - 1 Corinthians 13:13
Pray for the children to feel His Love. To see His Love. To know His Love.
