February 2021 Second Tuesday Prayer

Please join True Impact Ministries in our united, worldwide, day of prayer

Tuesday February 9, 2021

God’s Word often asks us to Remember. He takes us back to beginnings to refocus our attention on Who we serve. The greatest commandment was originally written in stone, then brought to remembrance by the words of Jesus. Today we are reminded once again to Love God with our whole being and share that love with our children.

Hear O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one!

You Shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart.

You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.

Deuteronomy 6:4-6

  • Begin prayer today with a focus on Who God is: Creator, Lord of all Nations, Shepherd, Spirit of Truth, Everlasting Father, Savior, Prince of Peace, Friend… worship God with words that are on your heart and in your mind.

Then Pray for the children we serve

  • Classes for Primary 6, Secondary 3,5 will resume and Universities will reopen March 1. Other levels will have staggered starts in March and April if schools remain free of Covid. Ask God for protection and encouragement as the students continue to wait and prepare. Pray that each child would hear and understand how much God loves them.

  • Ask God for new ideas and avenues of learning for the kids, academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. May God build a mentorship program and provide leadership to assist with choices and decisions as the children mature and move towards independence.

  • Intercede for our children and staff who have specific medical needs: Joan, Akiram, Hassan, David, Brian, Sarah and others.

Pray also for the Leadership of True Impact Ministries

  • May each person abide moment by moment in the love of the Lord. May each be diligent and bold in teaching the children about God.

  • Pray for continued clarity and wisdom as leadership remembers God’s goodness and grace in the past. Ask the Spirit to provide teaching and understanding in new ways to minister to the kids.

  • Pray for the pastors and teachers who talk with our children daily. Give them strength and health as schools restart.
