Reflect on these instructions from the Old Testament, rewritten in a modern translation, and then take time to remember True Impact Ministries in prayer with others across the globe.
God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It’s a good thing to quietly hope.
Quietly hope for help from God. It’s a good thing when you’re young to stick it out through the hard times.
When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence. Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions: Wait for hope to appear.
Lamentations 3:25-29 The Message
Our children in Uganda have just begun a new year of classroom instruction or vocational training. Some will enter a new school, face new challenges and find new opportunities.
We pray that each toddler, young child, secondary student and young adult find True hope in their Loving Father. May they feel free to come to Jesus with all their cares and joys and receive their heart’s desire. May they be comforted and guided by the Holy Spirit.
May they be blessed and feel at home with God.
And
May each Pastor, Teacher, Social Worker, Cook, Director, Maama, Nurse, Accountant, Decision maker, Donor, Supporter and Friend who helps our children- find True hope from God.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
