Today we pray from the truth and richness of the book of I John (The Message)
What marvelous love the Father extended to us! Just look at it—we are called children of God! That’s who we really are. 3:1
My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experience a relationship with God. 4:7
This is God’s command to believe in his personally named Son, Jesus Christ. As we keep his commands, we live deeply and surely in him, and he lives in us. 3:23
Children seek love and attachment from the time of their birth. Many of our students have never known the connection of family or the love of an earthly father.
Today we pray for each child and young adult
to know the heavenly Father’s great love for them
To have a personal, life-giving, and confident relationship with Jesus
To know that they are children of God and an important part of His family
To experience love and connection with sponsors, pastors, mentors, and other workers connected with True Impact Ministries
Special note: August 17 marks 10 years since Michelle and Julia Hoffman were taken from their earthly family to share eternity with Jesus. Their lives are celebrated and remembered by True Impact Ministries and the 50+ children that have been blessed with sponsorship at the Michelle and Julia Hoffman Memorial Children’s Home. Please pray peace and blessings over the Benson/Hoffman extended family this month.
