April 2022 Second Tuesday Prayer

Please join True Impact Ministries in our united, worldwide, day of prayer.

April 12, 2022

Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth, For in these things I delight,” declares the Lord. - Jeremiah 9:23-24

Give thanks to God today for His Steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in all the earth.

Praise God for the amazing trip which He provided for members of the True Impact team. I’ve been told that more reports, stories, letters, and pictures will be coming your way soon from the team! But today, give thanks for their safe return, for new contacts and relationships, for face-to-face communication and God’s ceaseless grace and mercy during their travels.

The team was able to spend time with students from all five of our ministry locations. Words and deeds of love were exchanged which blessed both the Ugandans and our team. Thank the Lord for new sponsorships, strong leaders, and a newly built security wall at Salem Christian School.

Pray with confidence to God who moves with steadfast love, justice, and righteousness.

Pray for the students who face challenges in school after two years of closures.

  • Preschool through Primary 1 as they adjust to formal schooling.

  • Primary 3-7 as they “skipped grades” during the closures. Many have written letters about how hard it is to put two years of work into one year.

  • Secondary 1-4. High School students are returning to a new national curriculum, moving from lectures, memorization, and test-taking to group projects with a research model. Students and schools are seeking assistance with textbooks, laptops, or phones to allow individual research and meet the demands of this new curriculum.

  • Higher Ed (Artisan and Vocational training, and University). Our students are getting older! We pray for God to prepare their hearts and minds for independence.

May each child know and understand God’s love, justice and righteousness and remain connected to God’s family.

Pray for the True Impact Leaders in the States as well as in Uganda. May we seek His direction and discernment for the days and years ahead. May we continue to boast in our God
