Maranatha Primary School in Kigalama
Our second school project was Phases 1 & 2 of a Maranatha Primary School in Kigalama, Uganda. Kigalama is a poor, small village full of subsistence farmers. Our 2009 and 2012 teams helped build this school.
Now in 2021, we are adding another building. Our goal is to replace the old wooden structure which has five school rooms in it.
Due to the need to move a latrine and also relocate the kitchen, we have some cost overruns on this project. In order to complete the first story of this three story classroom block, we need $15,000.
Once the first story is complete, the school will have three new classrooms to utilize. We will then begin fundraising for the second and third stories. When completed, this new three-story classroom building will be a shining example to the community of what God can do when we listen and do what He is asking of us.
Donate to help us finish construction.
Below are a few pictures of the current construction.
