Immanuel Children's Home and
Immanuel Education Centre
The Immanuel Children’s Home and the Immanuel Education Centre are located in Wandawa, Uganda. Wandawa is a small village approximately 30 miles southeast of the city of Jinja, just north of Lake Victoria. The majority of families in Wandawa are subsistence farmers who live below the poverty level.
True Impact built an addition to the Immanuel Children’s Home, drilled a water well and built one of the buildings for the Immanuel Education Centre in 2013 and 2014. The children are grown now and all in secondary schools. True Impact still supports the children at the schools they are currently attending through the generous donations of our sponsors.
