Sponsor One of the Girls
The children in our sponsorship program are identified by the community and our in-country employees as needing assistance. Each child’s story is unique, but they are all deserving of services and a future which you can help provide through your donations to True Impact Ministries.
The children in our program rely on True Impact support for their:
School Tuition and supplies
Life skills training
Your tax-deductible sponsorship will work together with the other sponsors in supporting the girls we are caring for. You will be helping True Impact kids learn and grow physically, mentally and spiritually.
Sponsorship of children extends from preschool through high school. Sponsors will have the opportunity to continue to provide for their sponsored child if they wish. This could mean vocational training like sewing, farming, auto repair or beauty shop among other skills. For some children it could mean continuing their education by attending a university or college. Your sponsorship will continue for as long as you wish until the child completes their education and training.
As you are looking through the children below, when you find one you want to sponsor, click on the Sign-Up Form link to register your support. You can also click on the Donation Page link to set up automatic recurring donations for your support. True Impact will be in touch with you regarding the details.
Sponsorship for a child is $100 per month. You can also share sponsorship with another sponsor at $50 per month.
Margret is living with her single mother who is being treated for cancer of the throat. She has 6 siblings. Their family is seeking assistance from Salem Children’s Centre to care for Margret and her sister Suzan and allow her to attend school. She is almost 10 years old, born November 11,2009. Margret dreams of becoming a nurse and helping others in the future.
Evelyn is an orphan who has been passed from home to home in her village, living with neighbors and distant relatives to survive. The small school near her grandmother’s home tried to find others who would help pay school fees, but Evelyn has not been able to attend classes with any regularity. She was born September 2, 2007 and enjoys playing netball and helping with chores.
Sponsorship with True Impact Ministries will bring hope and healing to Evelyn, giving her a fresh opportunity to know love, acceptance and provision of basic needs and stable schooling.
Winnie is the first born of 5 children. Her parents are peasant farmers, struggling to raise crops around their home to feed their family. She was born March 20, 2007 and is currently waiting to start the Primary 6 level of education. She loves reading and math, but her family is not able to provide her educational fees.
Merinah was born on April 22, 2009.
Her mother tries to supply her family’s food by farming in other’s fields, but she is not able to pay school fees or fully provide for Merinah’s daily needs. Her father is not known. For her safety and support Merinah is currently staying in the girl’s dorm at Truth. Sponsorship would provide for her education, lodging, food and medical needs as well as support her emotionally and spiritually.
Merinah’s daily struggles reflect those of many who are seeking sponsorship with True Impact Ministries. Your monthly donation will help provide for a child like Merinah and give her a hope and future.
Karin was born in 2010. She is currently in Primary 2 at New Eden Junior School. Her father is deceased, and we do not know the status of her mother. Her grandfather has been caring for her. She doesn’t have any siblings. Karin loves playing netball (like basketball with no dribbling).
