We had an absolutely amazing group of people (21 in all) travel to Uganda this year!  Most of the team also traveled to Kenya.  Our project in Uganda for this year was an addition to our  Immanuel Children’s Home in Wandawa, as well as a water well there at the home.  This provides water for the whole community.  We brought hundreds of pounds of donations, plus backpacks and knapsacks for every one of our sponsored children at Immanuel Children’s Home, Michelle & Julia Hoffman Memorial Children’s Home, and Salem Children Center.  Our team visited Maranatha Christian Schools in Nkonya, Mizigo, and Kigalama.

During our time in Kenya we visited the village of Gitombo, supported by Project Adopt a Village.  There we were able to pass out recorders to all the village children and teens, plus check out the water well newly drilled in Gitombo.

Everywhere we went, we were treated with warm hospitality, delicious food, singing and dancing.
